DOUBLES/SINGLES FLEX LEAGUE - Levels 2.0 to 4.5+

Tired of the same old weekly tennis league? Or does your busy schedule not allow you to even play on a weekly league?  The Flex League is "tennis on your terms".  In a flex league, you play against players at your level...at your convenience.

CORTA brings “convenience to your tennis life" with the doubles/singles flex league!  This league is perfect for tennis players with busy lifestyles and for players who just can’t get enough tennis.  This is a great time to get doubles or singles practice during the off season and improve your game for upcoming league and tournament play.

The Flex League offers USTA members all of the thrills of league tennis, built around your busy lifestyle.  You call the SHOTS!  The flexible format, combined with the option of using a substitute player and the late pass, should provide ample opportunity for players to complete all matches even with a demanding schedule.

Players are divided into gendered and leveled flights and play a round-robin format.  Levels may be combined if there are not enough players in a division.  Play in this league does not affect your rating.

Schedules designate opponents and home courts.  Schedules will include 5-8 matches and matches are scheduled one per week. Players are allowed a one-week extension from their primary week to complete each match.  The only exception is if you use your late pass.

In Doubles Flex you pick your doubles partner! Each team must consist of one player whose NTRP rating is the highest allowed at that level. (e.g., a 3.5 and 3.0 player will play at the 3.5 level.)

Singles Flex gives players the unique option of playing one level DOWN from their current NTRP rating if they have not played singles in a league match during the Spring 2009 or Fall 2009 League Year.  Players may compete at a higher level if desired.

Unlike team leagues, only one court is required for a Flex League match. Matches are to be played in the Columbus/Phenix City area.  You can play on ANY tennis court.

Register according to your preference of play.  Players must be prepared to schedule their matches during the reasonable and customary start times shown below.  Matches may be scheduled outside of these times only if it's mutually agreeable to both players.

Nights & Weekend League

There is a $26.00 registration fee ($23 league fee, $3 TennisLink user fee) per season and a USTA membership is required.

Players may play at more than one level in the Doubles or Singles Flex League and a player can play Doubles Flex and Singles Flex during the same season.
