Columbus Regional Tennis Association

CORTA, located in Columbus, Georgia, was originally founded in 1952. Our mission is "to promote and develop the growth of tennis." This non-profit organization has a current membership of over 2,300 and is located at Cooper Creek Tennis Center, the nation's largest public clay court facility.

Cooper Creek Tennis Center Expansion Project
CORTA, Columbus State University (CSU) and the Columbus Consolidated Government (City) have joined forces to raise $9 million to expand Cooper Creek Tennis Center.
Morning Scramble
Would you like to play tennis in the morning...come play Morning Scramble. A no-fuss, low-maintenance, easy way to play. Play is on Tuesday mornings from 9:30AM - 11:00AM starting March 8. Men and women will play together based on ability.

At the annual USTA Georgia Awards Dinner, two of CORTA's very own received special awards. Nita Perry received the award for Pro of the Year and Jennifer Schoening Vasilescu won the Adult Player of the Year! CORTA is so very proud of you both!

"Ad In" Tennis
The Ad In weekly clinic will begin again on March 4, 2016 - May 6, 4:30-5:30pm (no clinics on 3/25, 4/15, 4/22). Click here for more information about this free program for special needs adults and youth.

USTA Spring Jr. Team Tennis
Teams are now forming for the Spring Junior Team Tennis league starting February 21. Deadline is February 15th . Captain's meeting is Thursday, February 18th. If you do not have a team let us know and we will find one for you! Click here for more info!
"LOVE to Tri" Triathlon
CORTA is hosting the first "LOVE to Tri" Triathlon on Saturday, April 2nd, 2016! Event will consist of a 5K run (3.1 miles), a 12 mile bike ride and a tennis rally of 25 balls on the tennis courts. Click here for more information and to register.
Wounded Warrior Program
Three Wednesday mornings each month, year-round (weather permitting), CORTA hosts Ft. Benning's Wounded Warrior unit. Click here for more information.
