Tournament Check-In Procedures
Please check-in at the Check-In desk 30 minutes prior to your first match and 15 minutes before every other match throughout the tournament. The Check-In desk is located at the Annex on the left side of the street after you enter Cooper Creek Park.

REGISTRATION

Players competing in two events are restricted to the following options:

1 Singles & 1 Doubles
1 Singles & 1 Mixed
1 Doubles & 1 Mixed
PLEASE NOTE: You may NOT play in two of the same divisions. Ex. Men's 3.0 singles and men's 3.5 singles, etc.
PLEASE NOTE: Entry in two divisions may require you to play back to back matches.

Deadline to Register: Wednesday, July 28th, 2010 @ 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time).

MATCH SCHEDULE

Detail match schedules will be posted on Monday, August 2nd.
Matches begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Weekend matches will begin at 9:00 a.m.
Player Party Saturday, August 7th at 7:00 p.m.

Scoring

All matches will play two out of three tie-break sets with a 10 point match tiebreak being played in lieu of a third set.

RANKINGS and RATINGS

The Elvis "Return to Server" is a Southern NTRP Clay Court Championships! What does this mean? From your incredible play, you will receive southern ranking points, and earn a year end Southern ranking! For those of you concerned about how this might effect your NTRP rating….match results will NOT be included in your NTRP computer ratings. So, play hard and not only will your record go "Gold", but you may also be crowned the best in the South!

KIA Motors Tournament of Champions This tournament is a KIA Motors Tournament of Champions (TOC) Qualifying Event, an NTRP tournament series culminating in the KIA Motors Tournament of Champions in October. The TOC is an invitation-only tournament. The top two NTRP singles and doubles teams (2.5 – 5.0) from each of the eight Georgia districts advance. Doubles teams must be from the same district.

PLAYER PARTY

Can't make it to Graceland because you're playing in the tournament? No problem...we're bringing the party to Cooper Creek Tennis Center! This year.... we will have a FUN "Viva Las Vegas" themed party!

AWARDS

A player gift will be provided for all participants. Winner and finalist awards will be given for all divisions.

PLAYING SITE

Cooper Creek Tennis Center is a public facility with a two story clubhouse overlooking 30 rubico courts. IN 1996 and again in 2001, Cooper Creek Tennis Center received the "Outstanding Tennis Facilty" award from the USTA. In the spring of 1993, a clubhouse and 8 courts were added to the original 12 courts (built in 1972). In March of 1997, the original 12 courts were completely renovated. In December of 1999, constrution began on an additional 10 courts including a stadium court and were completed in April 2000. with the addition of these new courts, Cooper Creek is arguably the finest facility in the United States. Take I-185 to Exit 7 (Manchester Expressway). Turn east onto Manchester Expressway. Travel approximately 2 miles to the Warm Springs Road Connector. Travel up the exit ramp and turn right. The entrance to Cooper Creek Park is directly ahead. The clubhouse is a two-story building located on your right as you enter the park.
