Columbus Regional Tennis Association (CORTA) CORTA, located in Columbus, Georgia, was originally founded in 1952. This non-profit organization has a current membership of over 2,300 and is located at Cooper Creek Tennis Center, the nation's largest public clay court facility. CORTA, the USTA 2002 Member Organization of the Year and the USTA Georgia 2007 CTA of the Year, is dedicated to the promotion, development, growth and support of tennis in the region. CORTA's mission statement is, "to promote the development of tennis as a means of healthy recreation and lifelong physical fitness."
